Congratulations once again to Maxmo for finishing top. It was all down to the last race. Pete started the last day breaking even and all he needed was a single winner, even at 1/100 on (if there is ever such a thing at Aintree) to get into profit. And, hopefully, then into one of the… Read More »
Sometimes one doesn’t need to look too far down the ratings, or to analyse them too closely to find the obvious selection. I don’t think that there was a single member who wasn’t on this top rated horse. Available easily at 25/1 with the bookmakers and any price up into the thirties on the exchanges.… Read More »
Each year, a good friend of ours, Ed, produces an excellent analysis on the Grand National. This year he has done the same with a very detailed and well produced article. It is available as a PDF document from our servers. Please download the analysis here.
I have updated the CSV Results archives with the results for March 2018. This file is now available for download. There were a number of problems with the CSV Results from mid-October 2017 until the end of February 2018. The Flat season was upon us. Two weeks into the summer stuff and hardly a meeting had survived the mud and the rain of a protracted winter. All there was was a seemingly endless succession of wall-to-wall all-weather racing. There was so much of it that the members on the UK Horse Racing forum were… Read More »

On the fourth of April, 2018, there were four meetings scheduled. Not all survived the abandonments, but the data had… Read More »
Total Recall and Blaklion are the two top favourites to win the 2018 Grand National race. Total Recall could end up being the top favourite by the beginning of the race, Willie Mullins as a trainer adds some special weight to the odds. Odds have shortened drastically on both contenders ever since the bookies begun… Read More »
This is how the ratings looked for this race today over at Limerick. On the forum this morning I posted the following. The only one that I like as a manual selection is BALLEA FOX in the 4.20 Limerick. This is mostly down to the price and the decent class figure and the better than… Read More »
Congratulations to Maxmo for coming out on top and winning this year’s UKHR Cheltenham Competition. I managed to claw second place which meant those below me making a profit, namely Mark, Students and Corgan, were unable to claim the runners-up prize. But well done to those three for making a profit to SP which is… Read More »
Day Four of the Cheltenham Festival gives us the wonderful County Hurdle. The ratings were spot on with this one. The top rated Mohaayed wins at 33/1 (though available at 70s on the exchanges) and the second home was third-rated Remiluc at 50/1.
