New code I am testing and something that I should of written 20 years ago: remember last night when the ratings were delayed due to my failing to run the right set of ratings? Well, I will have fixed that issue now. As I say, it only took twenty years. I am also testing something… Read More »
A nice top rated value winner. This was available at around 14/1 the night before which is good for a horse with a value price of 4/1. Exitas opened at 8/1 and the price was backed into 11/2 before winning by seven lengths.
Rob, on the forum, couldn’t have made it any clearer. “Good victory for the ratings in the shape of the top rated Thorntoun Lady in the 6.40 at Wolverhampton. Backed at 33 to 1 last night, went off at 8 to one this evening.”
Those on the forum will know of Mark’s selections that he posts daily. It would be fair to say that he’s getting a bit of a following these days and who can blame them? September’s results are now in and they are as follows. Selections 731 Winners 119 Strike Rate 16.9% Profit 218 (at the price available at the time of posting) ROI 29% The largest drawdown was 106 points… Read More »

The reason for The Land… Read More »

Bazooka was only just behind the top rated and would have been one of Wit`s selections if one of the four columns (b-c-dd-e) wasn`t a zero. Nonetheless the set of figures are overall rather good. It had… Read More »
These are the Blindingly Obvious selections that I had backed in August. I am happy enough with that return though I have to admit I did miss a couple of sitters. Looking forward to September.
Before I start, a disclaimer: I wasn’t on this one at all and it was only when I did the post-mortem for this race that something stood out concerning the winning horse. So, see this post as a form of discussion on that race and how the winner could have been spotted. First, here’s the… Read More »
Last night, just before midnight, I posted the following concerning the racing today. Musselburgh 3.45 has NOVA SCOTIA as a very possible Blindingly Obvious (BO) selection. The one worry is Jonny Delta who is dropping massively in class and weight. But at over 20s on offer for New Scotland I am happy to take that.… Read More »
