The Cheltenham festival can always be a difficult puzzle to solve when it comes to picking winners but we have you covered. Check out the horse generator below to see which horse best matches you. Betting at Cheltenham Festival is always a massive factor with punters putting their money down following studying the form. The handicaps are looking as difficult as ever but following previous trends can normally lead to success. One horse that certainly won’t be contesting a handicap as he did last year is the hugely exciting Presenting Percy.

Trained by the shrewd P G Kelly who has just a select few horses but has had multiple Cheltenham festival winners. He has won the last two runnings of the Pertemps final with Percy bolting up last year to defy a mark of 146. This was 6lb above his Irish rating and prompted many people to question how ridiculous this was at the time. However Presenting Percy showed he is far better than this in sprinting clear up the hill to win by over three lengths.

He has returned this season in top form that includes a grade two victory over hurdles against the likes of Augusta Kate. He then stepped up in his most recent start to contest the Grade two Red Mills Chase against Gold Cup fancy Our Duke. He was gambled off the boards into evens favourite but was beaten a length having looked the winner going to the last. His jockey Davy Russell clearly didn’t give him too hard a race. This was a top performance considering Our Duke is fancied by many for the Gold Cup on the final day of the meeting.

Presenting Percy is now heading for the RSA Chase at the festival and is the current 5/2 favourite with Betfair. His key rival looks to be Monalee who is another extremely exciting novice chaser. He is coming off a solid performance in the Grade 1 Flogas Novice Chase in which he made all to win by just under a length. He also has Cheltenham festival form having placed second in the 2017 Albert Bartlett when looking the winner only for the Mullins trained Penhill to run on strongly approaching the last. Monalee is the current 3/1 second favourite with Betfair. Both horses are extremely exciting and it sets up for one of the most anticipated clashes of the festival.
